About the role
As our Talent Acquisition Specialist, you’ll work across TCap’s current portfolio of companies to oversee and run full-lifecycle recruitment activities, including candidate experience and employer branding activities. You’ll play a pivotal role, positively impacting how we attract and hire exceptional people who are the heart and soul of the entities we support.
Your natural ability to connect with others is essential as you’ll work with various people, from candidates to internal teams. Your quick pace will play a key role in building our world-class People Ops team at TCap and helping the entities in our portfolio scale.

People Ops Coordinator

About the role
As our People Ops Coordinator, reporting to our Head of People Ops, you’ll work across TCap’s current portfolio companies to own and support current and future projects. You’ll work across a spectrum of People Ops initiatives, including recruitment, rewards, payroll, benefits, culture and employee engagement.
Your natural ability to connect with others is essential as you’ll work with a variety of people across multiple businesses. Your attention to detail coupled with sound judgement will play a key role in helping us build a world-class People Ops team.

What you’ll be doing
· Act as point of contact for any employee questions and concerns regarding People Ops, from our policies to culture initiatives, keeping things confidential as necessary.
· Learn, manage and (eventually) own payroll and benefits administration for employees apart of TCap’s
Canadian and US entities.
· Make sure all employee information is always up to date in the HRIS.
· Learn from and support our Talent Acquisition Specialist with recruitment and employer branding activities across the TCap entities.
· Assist onboarding of new employees, including communication, tool set up, benefits and general questions that happen in the first few weeks.
· Create and run reports related to headcount planning, FTE, vacation, and ad-hoc needs.
· Champion rewards & recognition, employee engagement & culture initiatives across our TCap entities.
· Support our People Ops team with ideas and execution for any miscellaneous and exciting projects.
What we’re looking for
· Up to 2 years of experience in an People Ops (HR) admin or recruitment roleSomeone pursuing
People Ops as a career.
· Someone who is excited by people-first, collaborative People Ops practices in a fast-paced and changing environment.
· Curiosity and inventiveness combined with technical aptitude.
· A resourceful person with a can-do attitude who knows where to find answers when the need arises.
· A clear communicator, in writing and in person, especially when it comes to handling confidential information.
· A healthy dose of common sense and applying sound judgement in sensitive situations.
